21/6/23 The capital of Iceland

Waking up in Reykjavik after a restful night in the car – feeling refreshed! The day began with a noon rendezvous at Mars’s place. We headed to the city center, where she treated me to the most fascinating experiences. We visited a super fancy bakery, marveled at an 80-meter-high concrete church with organs from another dimension, strolled by the local harbor, and admired the Harpa concert hall. After a delightful shopping spree, Maty set up his mobile office. I picked up some fish, vegetables, couscous, and skyr. Mars promised to cook for us, and then I dropped by her place. She let me freshen up, and we had a fantastic day-long chat. She’s studying psychology in Brno, and we dove into many intriguing discussions on the topic.

Okay, then I headed to the store with Maty, where he was teaching ultralight theory online on the grass. We spent some time relaxing after that, enjoyed our first warm dinner in Iceland, and had a group call with Mars. Since the store had closed, Mars graciously let us come by to charge our electronics. We also sorted out plans for the next few days. Finally, off to sleep! What a day!
